Flexi Panorama Tour

Having collected you from Kelora Bush Camp we will head up the Abel Eramus Pass and through the Strydom Tunnel as we climb the Drakensberg escarpment out of the Lowveld. We will hit the R532, Panorama Route. Our first stop (or a flexible change to hike first in the summer months due to the heat) will be the views of the 3 Rondawels over the stunning Blyde River Canyon. This being the 3rd largest Canyon in the world and the greenest, makes for unforgettable scenic views. Another short trip down the winding road will take us to another vantage point where we will can enjoy a much needed coffee stop with a dramatic backdrop.
After a relaxed coffee and some fresh pastries we will take a drive to a beautiful private farm where we shall embark on a leisurely 5,2km round trip hike to the Farm Falls, enjoy a drink and a dip on those hot summer days in the pool at the foot of the falls. Having made our way back we’ll tuck into a hearty meal served out of the Potluck Boskombuis
(Bush Kitchen) set on the banks of the Treur river. A beautiful setting for a great South African lunch!
The afternoon can be can be decided upon post lunch, with either the option to head on to visit the Berlin and Lisbon Falls as well as Pinnacle Rock or onto the Bourke’s Lucky Potholes, the choice is yours! Either way it’ll be a fun excursion with some interesting facts along the way. We’ll finish the day with a drinks stop before winding our way down the escarpment and back to your accommodation.
